The last semifinals of Madrid Urban Sports virtual arrive

The last week of Madrid Urban Sports continues to advance and once the men’s skate quarterfinals are over, today is the turn of the semifinals. The riders will continue to face each other in the best trick modality and they will have to convince the judges with their tricks that they deserve to be in the Madrid Urban Sports grand final, on Saturday, November 28. The matches for these semi-finals are: Kelvin Hoefler vs. Lucas Rabelo and Aurélien Giraud vs. Chris Joslin.

The first semi-final, which pits Hoefler against Rabelo, promises to be a brutal duel. The two skaters have a lot of history in skateboarding and have established themselves as one of the best in the world. In addition, they have been medalists of the urban sports Olympics, the X Games, which further demonstrates their infinite talent.

On the other side of the picture come Joslin against Giraud. The North American will face the French, with a certain advantage a priori due to his name and history in this sport. Joslin has also been a medalist at the X Games, but Giraud is being the sensation of this 2020, the year in which he has turned pro for Plan B.

The bracket targets the finals

Skaters will have to compete in the best trick format. Although in the quarterfinals the spot chosen was the gap, now it is the riders’ turn to show their skills to iron tricks online. We will see how this change affects riders and if they are able to continue showing their mastery online as well as in gap. The clashes are already posted on the @urbanworldseries instagram account, but we leave them here below so you can take a first look at them!
