- The largest and most outdoor 3×3 circuit returns to the MUS in the second stop of its 2022 edition
After last year’s success, the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank circuit returns to Madrid Urban Sports. On Saturday 11 June, teams from pre-mini to senior will play in the biggest outdoor basketball circuit in Spain.
The MUS will be its 2nd stop in this edition, the 10th since its creation in 2012. It has achieved record figures during its ten years of circuit: more than 100 stops, 45,000 players enjoying the circuit and more than 25,000 visitors visiting the 42 Spanish cities.
In the last edition of Madrid Urban Sports, more than 373 players enjoyed two days full of basketball accompanied by 5,000 visitors who were delighted with the games and their great plays. The most ‘urban’ basketball format will take place in one of the most important national and international urban events. In addition, one of Spain’s basketball personalities, Fernando Romay, ambassador of the Spanish Federation, visited the venue and chatted with the participants.
It is a circuit organised by the Spanish Basketball Federation and sponsored by CaixaBank, to promote the practice of outdoor sports and to allow clubs from all over Spain to enjoy a free space to practice basketball.
The MUS and Plaza 3×3 Caixabank are once again collaborating in this second edition of the event, in which urban sports and one of the king of sports, basketball, come together to enjoy one of the most epic events in Madrid.
