• For the first time, the city will host a scooter competition at the highest international level in two disciplines: Park and Street

The Scooter arrives in style in the first on-site edition of Madrid Urban Sports, after a first online edition held in 2020 in which the scooter played a major role and crowned Auguste Pellaud as the winner of this discipline.

The best athletes of this discipline will meet in the two parks that will be built for the occasion in the great esplanade of Madrid Río – Matadero and the two top disciplines of the moment will be represented: Park and Street.

Tricks you’ve never seen before in Central Park

Central Park will witness the repertoire of Double flairs, Cashrolls and 540 flairs with which we are accustomed to the top exponents of this discipline. Jaime Hull, Roomet Saalik, Richard Zelinka or Dante Hutchinson are some of the names that MUS 2021 has in its sights. We must also take into account our top representative in the modality and current Spanish champion Rubén Doniga, who curiously is the protagonist of the teaser of the video on top. Press PLAY!

A great battle awaits us at the Street Plaza  

Street is the most booming modality in recent years in the world of scootering. The standard of tricks and combos is increasingly high and many of the references of this discipline will be in Madrid fighting for the medals. To highlight some names such as Auguste Pellaud, Lucas Di Meglio, Jonathan Perroni, David Senkyr or Timo Sturmlin, who will leave us crazy with their talent and creativity in the Street Plaza.

The Spanish have a lot to say in this discipline, starting with the reigning world champion in this specialty. Pol Román will be the rival to beat, but he will be escorted by the whole Spanish team that aspires to everything. Luis Barrios, Guifré Obradors and Carlos Ravello will be the riders to take into account for our medal chances.

Everything is ready for the first Madrid Urban Sports in history, and this will be a city event, for all citizens of Madrid. The entrance will be open and free for all the public, but respecting the measures of capacity and protection covid marked by the authorities.
