– The world’s best athletes face off at the Madrid Urban Sports Scooter World Championships

– The international urban sports event comes to Madrid Río with all the Olympic disciplines in a weekend full of excitement and free access

Madrid is getting ready to welcome urban sports lovers from all over the world, with just one month to go until the start of Madrid Urban Sports. From the 16th to the 18th of June, the famous Madrid Rio park will be the stage for action and adrenaline, hosting all the Olympic disciplines of urban sports, such as BMX and Skateboarding.

Some of the athletes confirmed for these categories are in skateboarding the Madrid native and 2020 Tokyo Olympian Danny Leon, as well as Roos Zwetsloot, Virginia Fortes, Adriel Parmisano, Adrien Bulard, Facundo Quiroga and Daniela Terol.
On the other hand in BMX we will have the Olympic silver medallist in Tokyo 2020 Daniel Dhers and the sisters Queen and Liz Villegas.

There will also be an international Breaking competition, part of the WDSF Breaking for Gold International Series, which will be a key stop before the discipline’s debut at the Olympic Games in Paris next year. Legends such as Johnny Fox, Furia, Lola and Xak will take part.
But that’s not all, as icing on the cake, during these days will be held the Scooter World Championships, with the support of World Skate and La Real Federación Española de Patinaje, where the best athletes will show their skills and compete for the title in the categories of Park and Street both Man, Woman and Junior.

Here we will have the participation in the Skate Park category of: Jamie Hull, Esteban Clot, Roomet Säälik, Dylan Morrisson, Cris Farris, Jordan Clark, Mia Catalano, Lucy Evans, Beca Ortiz and Finley Campbell.

On the other hand in Street we will have legends such as: Lucas Di Meglio, Dante Hutchinson, Guifré Obradors, David Senkyr, Matis Neyroud.
